DataBOX is a company of engineering and services in the fields of both corporate and telecommunication operator's networks. Created in 1996, it is based in Tunisia but operates, in partnership with several equipment manufacturers, in several countries in Africa, Middle East and Europe for the deployment of management and supervision solutions for fixed and mobiles networks.

DataBOX has TD2, TF2 and TR3 licences which are delivered by the Ministry of Communication Technologies for the supply and the installation of telecommunication equipment in Tunisia.

DataBOX has a technical staff composed of highly trained and qualified engineers that graduated from various prestigious engineering schools in Tunisia, Europe and North America. DataBox engineers are in permanent contact with latest development in Information Technology and are working with many customers in Tunisia bringing them knowledge and skills to solve their communications problems and satisfy their information technology needs.

DataBOX offers four main activities aimed toward addressing the needs and requirements of its customers:

  1. Telecommunication Network Activities: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of telecommunication access and transmission network solution for local, regional and international markets. Subcontracting for installation services and local support for fixed and mobile network equipments manufacturers. DataBox has today a knowledge and an experiment in the deployment of the telecommunications networks solutions on the national, regional and international level in the following fields:
     

    Access Telegraphic networks by using technologies xDSL
    Transmission Networks SDH and PDH
    Supervision System of SS7 networks
    Mobile networks Monitoring System (GSM, GPRS and UMTS)
    Synchronization System per atomic clock PRC and SDU

     

  2. Corporate Network Activities: Supply, installation and commissioning of LAN/WAN solutions for corporate customers. Expertise and consulting services for feasibility studies related corporate network deployment and corporate network security solutions. Technical assistance in corporate network management and supervision.

  3. Value Added Solutions and Services: Supply of Video and Audio conferencing systems and services. Supply of network access solution for Call Centers.

  4. Training Activities: Technical Hands-On-Training on state of the art corporate network technologies as well latest access and transmission solution for carriers.
